About The Shaykh

Dr. Shaykh Abdulrahman Al-Surayh

Shaykh Ḥamad ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Surayh is a contemporary Saudi scholar, teacher, and community leader known for his strong grounding in the Islamic sciences, particularly ʿAqīdah (Islamic creed), fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and the study of sects, ideologies, and contemporary intellectual trends.

He currently resides in Bloomington, Minnesota (USA), where he serves as the Imam and Khateeb at Al-Jazari Institute and as a professor at the Islamic University of Minnesota. Through these roles, Shaykh al-Surayḥ has become a key figure in the local Muslim community, combining traditional scholarship with active community engagement and education.
